Things in Night
I played bass on about half of the first Strange record. The package capitalizes on Jay Winfrey's photographs of one of our early performances at the Kings Barcade in Raleigh, NC. 2005 or so. -
Darker Brighter, "Hank" 7"
The lo-fi artwork for the first Darker Brighter record. Recorded at home on my white MacBook, so I thought I'd keep the art D.I.Y., as well. Hence, printed at Kinko's. The imagery is an homage to 1950s science fiction films. -
Menergy
The artwork for the second White Octave record and single, created by Casey Burns and I in his cave at the Cat's Cradle in 2001. The creepy sublime in full effect. Interior photo by Daniel Coston. -
Style No. 6312
The first White Octave record, and my first computer-based design (1999). I finagled time on a blueberry iMac at C.O. Copies on Franklin Street (where my buddy Eric Roehrig worked). John Szuch at Deep Elm helped with some tweaks for the second pressing on Deep Elm.
